NEW: STR Active Crash System ACS with direct-synchronous-drive The innovative direct-synchronous-drive (DS)gives a virtually wear-free drive with smoothest running. The drive is now attached directly "to the top of the door blade" by a drive shaft and synchronously arranged telescopic extension arms connecting on the top lath of the door blade. This reduces the wear on power transmission parts considerably. At the same time we could substantially improve the safety level for uncontrolled descent of doors. Furthermore we achieved a considerably longer operating life of important components, because amongst others the blue belt has been replaced by a flyer chain and in particular the stress of the springs could be reduced, too.
