EFAFLEX Tor- und Sicherheitssysteme GmbH & Co. KG has been a family-run company since it was founded in 1974. At the helm are the two partners Christopher Seysen and Petra Rejc.
The Seysen family is responsible for the Sales Division and the Rejc family for the Technology Division.
Christopher Seysen
Christopher Seysen has been a partner at EFAFLEX Tor- und Sicherheitssysteme GmbH & Co. KG since 1998 and is now the second generation to lead the company. Until 2013, he also served as managing director of sales, a position he had taken over from his father in 2002. Together, the two built up a network of sales and customer service branches on every continent, established subsidiaries, and thereby firmly positioned EFAFLEX on the global market. To this day, Christopher Seysen also serves as managing director of the largest subsidiary for sales and customer service.
Petra Rejc
Petra Rejc has been a partner at EFAFLEX Tor- und Sicherheitssysteme GmbH & Co. KG since 1998 and is now the second generation to run the company. Until 2013, she also served as Managing Director for the Technical Division, a role she had held alongside her father since 1998. To this day, she remains Managing Director of the development company in Slovenia and is thus primarily responsible for product development. Together with her father, she has established development and manufacturing sites, set up sales and customer service branches, and founded subsidiaries worldwide.
Manfred Seysen († 2024)
Manfred Seysen was a partner and co-founder of EFAFLEX Tor- und Sicherheitssysteme GmbH & Co. KG. He founded the company in 1974 together with Gabriel Rejc and Gustav Meyer. He initially took charge of the “Doors” division, which at the time focused exclusively on high-speed industrial doors. From 1986 to 2002, he served as managing director of sales before handing the position over to his son Christopher. Together, father and son built up a large network of sales and customer service branches across all continents and established subsidiaries worldwide.
Gabrijel Rejc († 2023)
Gabrijel Rejc was a partner and co-founder of EFAFLEX Tor- und Sicherheitssysteme GmbH & Co. KG. He founded the company in 1974 together with Manfred Seysen and Gustav Meyer. From 1986 to 2007, he served as Managing Director for the Technical Division, before handing over the role to his daughter Petra. His groundbreaking inventions established the market segment for high-speed industrial doors. During his career, numerous patents were granted for his inventions. Of particular note is the spiral door technology from 1992. Together, father and daughter established development and manufacturing sites, set up sales and customer service branches, and founded subsidiaries worldwide.
