Change in Management at EFAFLEX

Manfred Merthan is to become the new managing director at EFAFLEX.

On 1 June, he will join the management team of the high-speed door specialist. Merthan, who has been with the company since 2007 and most recently served as Commercial Director and authorised signatory, succeeds Hans-Jörg Kremser, who is retiring from active professional life. In his new role, he will be responsible for the Technical Division, encompassing development, procurement, production, IT and customer service.

The company, based in Bruckberg in Lower Bavaria (Landshut district), is the global market leader in high-speed industrial doors. It holds the official world record for the fastest vertically opening industrial door at five metres per second and employs more than 1,500 people worldwide.
