EFAFLEX promotes energy efficiency with initiative

The ‘Energy Efficiency 360°’ series of events offers industrial companies and public institutions a wide range of ways to save energy. EFAFLEX demonstrates the effectiveness of high-speed doors in this context.

EFAFLEX Tor- und Sicherheitssysteme GmbH & Co. KG is making a further contribution to energy efficiency. The manufacturer of industrial doors from Bruckberg near Munich has been a member of the ‘Energy Efficiency 360°’ initiative for six months.

In mid-September, EFAFLEX, represented by Jan Hauffe, Head of Sustainability and Business Intelligence, took part in an event at BASF in Münster for the first time. There, EFAFLEX presented ways to reliably save CO₂, energy and costs through the use of high-speed doors.

There was also an opportunity for personal exchange with the approximately 50 participants at the event in Münster, some of whom are already planning concepts to save energy with high-speed doors from EFAFLEX. In addition to the positive effect on the environment, the savings enable companies to offer their products more cost-effectively and thus more competitively.

Prominent partners in the initiative, alongside EFAFLEX, include companies such as Viessmann, Kaeser Kompressoren, Etanomics and Optenda. Several times a year, the ‘Energy Efficiency 360°’ initiative organises exclusive conferences at various locations in Germany, featuring presentations from a wide range of companies, all aimed at boosting energy efficiency for industrial customers.

The next opportunity for interested parties will be on 11 November 2025 in Munich, at Schmitt+Sohn. EFAFLEX will also showcase the energy-saving advantages of high-speed doors and there will be an opportunity for active networking with all participants.
